Bryan P&Z Commissioner Paul Torres Announces for Bryan City Council

Bryan, TX: Today, Bryan businessman and Bryan Planning & Zoning Commissioner Paul Torres formally announced his run for Bryan City Council Single Member District 1. Torres is a proud citizen of Bryan and a graduate of Texas A&M University (’02). He is the owner of BenRoz Construction, located in Bryan, Texas. Torres and his wife, Mary Lee, have been married for 32 years and live with their son, Benjamin, who attends Bryan High School.

Torres released the following statement:

“It is with great pleasure that I announce my candidacy for Bryan City Council Single Member District 1. I am thankful for the tireless service that Councilman Reuben Marin provided. It is an honor to have his full support and endorsement.’

“Over the years, I have served on the City of Bryan’s Parks and Recreation Board, Building Standard Commission, and Planning and Zoning Board. I am also a proud member of the BCS Hispanic Forum, where we have awarded over $1.23 Million in scholarships to our community’s students. As a business owner who has provided jobs and served our city and community, I know I bring the passion and experience to serve District 1 on the Bryan City Council.’
